BIMMG (Black Ink Management and Music Group LLC) is an American independent record label and distribution company, established in 2006 distributed through Bungalo Records/Universal Music Group. Also known as BIMMG and currently based out of the Queen City – Charlotte, North Carolina, USA… our clientele includes independent labels, and both signed and unsigned artists of all genres.
The company was founded by Ron Hatchett with the goal of offering a professional infrastructure to upcoming artists and record labels. Although Independent, BIMMG shares the same amenities as its larger counterparts, but operates in a more modern, non-traditional manner. Black Ink’s staff understands what it’s like to be an entrepreneur. This understanding is reflected in not only the way we do business, but also in how we take great care of our clientele. From Distribution, to label and artist consultation, to (BRM) Brand Relationship Management, and now, extended services in film scoring, gaming production, artist booking, professional project mastering, graphic designs and more behind our strategic partnerships with Pantherbred, SIEG, Crown Town Records, Tiger Eye Management Group, and Breakpoint Booking. These partnerships have allowed us to scale up, create. and move content intentionally for artists, labels and companies to the demos that’s best suited for their product while utilizing the latest technologies.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY is in understanding the power of the collective, and what can be accomplished when we partner to move with purpose. We come to the table, with other bright minds, in an effort to bring forth content that continues to move the culture forward without compromising the integrity of the art.
